The Parties Over
The parties over
The lights are dim
No more crowds
Dancing in
The stage is empty
Balloons hang midair
It’s almost like we were
Never there
Tables strewn with
Empty plates
Glasses that clinked
Between us mates
The parties over
But try not to fear
Let’s hope there’s another
This time next year
